🚐 Job Title: Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) Driver

Location: Central California – Kings, Tulare, and Fresno Counties
Salary Range: $17.40 – $25.50 per hour (based on experience, shift, and performance)

Position Summary

As a NEMT Driver, you will transport clients to and from scheduled medical appointments, facilities, and treatment centers. You will be responsible for ensuring the safety, comfort, and dignity of each passenger while complying with company policies and state transportation regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide door-to-door transportation for clients to medical and wellness appointments

  • Assist passengers in and out of vehicles safely; support those with mobility challenges

  • Maintain accurate daily logs and client trip documentation

  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections

  • Communicate with dispatch in real-time regarding schedules and route updates

  • Ensure vehicle cleanliness, safety, and fuel levels

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years of age

  • Valid California Driver’s License (Class C minimum)

  • Clean H6 DMV Driving Record (10-year printout required at time of interview)

  • Pass a drug screening test (pre-employment and random)

  • Clear criminal background check

  • Ability to lift and assist up to 50 lbs

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills

  • Must have reliable transportation to report to dispatch locations

Required Certifications (or obtained within 30 days of hire)

  • HIPAA Compliance Certification

  • Bloodborne Pathogen Training

  • First Aid/CPR (preferred)

Compensation & Benefits

  • Hourly pay: $17.40 – $25.50, based on experience, availability, and performance

  • Bi weekly pay (direct deposit available)

  • Flexible shifts (weekday, weekend, AM/PM routes)
